Shocked: another academic death
I've calmed down by now. I got to know it last Friday. Another student, after 7 years (or so) has quit because of Ex Supervisor without finishing the MA thesis. I think shes written about 50 pages by now. Like only one more chapter and one big revision missing.

people like your ex supervisor should be fired!
It sounds like your Ex-Supervisor has some issues with communicating with students. I wonder if any of his peers realize what is happening...
Sometimes the weight of the professor's old boys club is more important than his/her abilities.
